What a great start to the weekend. I collected my mum and we head to our favourite Deli for brunch…. The Green Door Deli in Herne Bay. This weekend they will be celebrating their 10 year anniversary.
I forgot to take a photo of what we had but it was lush!! It is so nice to catch up with mum. We continue our little adventure…. we have no idea where we are going to go but we know we will have so much fun together. I love spending time with my mum.
We end up in Chilham for Cream Tea at The Church Mouse Tea Rooms. It looks as though are adventure today is based around food…
The service was great and the Cream Tea was to die for… I would highly recommend it.
We are back in the car and we had to the White Cliffs of Dover as mum wants to watch the boats.
There are loads of different car parks to choose from but something made me choose the one I went into as I was going to go up a next level but changed my mind at the last minute. As I got further into the car park…. I thought I recognised that face… and I did indeed… It was Dave. It was so lovely to see him and chat with him. He is so knowledgable it’s unreal. Mum loved chatting away with him about all the different boats and ferries. I hope that they will do it again together when I am back at home.
Our adventure is not quite over yet…. we have ‘Tonight’s Entertainment is……..’
Wow oh wow…. It was absolutely fabulous. It was so nice to see a variety of people in the audience from young to old both male and females. The ballet was mesmerising and the music was out of this world. How they can dance and lift so high off the floor without hardly making a sound when they land is unbelievable…. unlike me crashing to the floor on Wednesday!!
