Sunday 1st December 2024:- Build Up Long Run- 30 Minutes

I wasn’t going to start my official marathon training until after Christmas but I have changed my mind!! I know it will be tough and I was worried that I would over do it if I started training to soon but I am also a little bit worried if I do not start soon I will struggle on the day. My Strength and Conditioning Session was my first session and this is now my first official LONDON MARATHON RUN…. Go me!!

Today’s run is running for 30 minutes…. I can walk if I want to but the plan is to spend 30 minutes on my feet and get into the habit knowing that from now on Sunday’s will be my long running days unless… I need to taper them off. I am supposed to aim for 12:43 minutes/mile and I have actually surprised myself by running 12:36 minutes/mile and I have covered 2.38 miles.
