I haven’t played a Club Tennis Match for ages so it was great to just get out there and have some fun… We won by a draw as both teams won 2 matches each.
I paired up with Jana. She was great fun to play with. I apologised as I have only played about 4 tennis matches this year and that was mainly in our Club Championships… Obviously, I didn’t last very long in them!!
We lost our first set 6-4 but went on to win our second one 6-4. Over 1.5 hours later we lost in a Championship Tie break. We had so much fun and the game was played in great spirit. Jana and I were not a bad pairing. We have never played doubles together so I personally think we did really well.
After a quick comfort break, we were back on court but this time we came out on top with a 6-2 6-3 win. WAAHHHOOO
