What a fabulous day out… I was a due to meet my Mum, two sisters (Deborah and Liz) and my niece Jessica at a certain time at London Bridge but they missed their train!! I decided to go for a little walk as you do. When I say little walk it was very little as I came across a nice seating area where I could enjoy a nice glass of wine whilst waiting for them!
Whilst I was sitting waiting for them…. I thought I would play a silly little game called… Come Find Me!
I did send a clue as to where I would be…..
I walked back to the London Bridge Train Station to meet them all and we headed towards Borough Market alongside the River Thames…. Yes Zoe, Borough Market was open today.. as today is Friday and not Monday!!
On our way we talked and talked. It was great to catch up with family. Due to all the talking we stopped off for a cup of tea and coffee! Oh and coke… only noticed that as I have just posted the photo below!
We then caught up with the lovely Julie Clare… and yes she did get lost (again) on the way to meeting us. Julie has a crazy sense of direction or is it lack of direction. Nonetheless it always makes me giggle whenever she gets lost… The best one which I will never forget wasn’t even really about lack of direction… it was more about going to the wrong theatre when we were supposed to be watching Heathers The Musical at the Other Palace… she went to the wrong theatre completely… yes she went to the Palace Theatre!! Only Julie… but we wouldn’t want her any other way.
We all had a lovely dinner together, chilling outdoors and Jorge met us after he had finished work.
Across the road to The Menier’s Chocolate Factory to watch The Baker’s Wife. I was super excited to see this as our wonderful friend David Pendlebury was in it.
