I thought this was my longest run that I have completed so far but I forgot on Boxing Day I ran for 60 minutes!! Until now&#8230; I only ever consider my pace to be slow and slower. Mind you this is because I would usually run way too fast to start off with and then gradually get slower and slower as time went on.  Oh how I am changing! and for the better. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So with the different pacing options, I am going to try and aim for the suggest speeds\/pace that the app has me down for. Whether I will be able to maintain it is a different matter but I shall give it a damn good go. If I don&#8217;t think I can keep it up for all of the last intervals I will decrease the pace slightly and if I have to do this workout again. I would start of with a slow pace for the longer runs at the beginning but increase the speed at the end so that I can maintain the whole times. At the moment, it is trial and error with pacing as it is something that I am not used to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What a nightmare&#8230;.. I did an extra 8 minutes and 22 seconds as I started my warm-up and my shoe lace came undone and I thought I had pushed the pause button but oh no I pushed the stop button&#8230; I could have just carried on to complete the 10 minute warm-up but nope&#8230; I thought I would reset the clock&#8230; Why oh why did I think this was such a good idea at the time?? Nope me neither.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first 3-4 intervals were not too bad but then boy oh boy could I feel it. I didn&#8217;t think that I was going to have the lung capacity to continue but I stuck with the game plan although I did slow my pace down a little bit. I was a little gutted as I thought I had finished all of my hard work but then I heard&#8230; now work&#8230; beep beep beep insert lots of swear words here&#8230;. I still have one final push left to go. Then hurrah I can walk!
